At UBC Okanagan, tuition is calculated on a per-credit basis, not a flat rate. During Winter Session, 1 credit generally represents one hour of instruction or two to three hours of laboratory work per week. At UBC, most one-term courses are 3 credits and most two-term courses are 6 credits. A full-time course load is normally 30 credits per year.

Tuition fees are in Canadian dollars, are reviewed annually by the UBC Board of Governors, and are subject to change.
